The initial line work was thick and purposeful in its placement. Building up tone and depth through midtones + further highlights and details throughout the design process.

A self-set project showcasing the incredible beauty of one of the most influential artists of all time. The illustrations shown are hand-drawn in Adobe Illustrator working on a Wacom 27" UHD drawing tablet. Emulating the energy as close as possible with the artist’s music playing in the background as a basis for the design’s flowing movement.
