Jus' Chillin' - Illustration

I designed this piece in conjunction with Central 23 (one of the fasted growing greetings card companies in the UK), to illustrate a greetings card to fit into their 'Originals' collection consisting of: cute animals, puns and softer "playful" illustrations.

A few variations of the illustration before finalising the design.

I wanted to keep the mellow use of pastel pinks and creamy shades of beige within the overall style of the piece, which I decided carried consistency within the type as well as the subject to offset the brighter background colour.
